Location: St Peter’s House, Broadstairs and Thistly Hill Dover (Dover Team)

Kent Enablement at Home delivers Enablement Services to Clients with their own homes.

The Administration role involves Supporting the Line Manager and Enablement Carers in the safe delivery of these services. It is an exciting and many faceted post involving the daily use of computerised systems; recording and relaying essential information to all staff involved in the care of a Service User, maintenance of records and great emphasis on working as part of a team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can demonstrate a capacity to cope with a variety of tasks in a busy office environment dealing with frontline home care services.

Key skills required are: good numeric and literacy, excellent communication and telephone skills, good computer skills, knowledge of care in a community setting.

This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The post is based at St Peters but with the possibility of moving to Dover.
