The Early Help and Preventative Services (EHPS) division provides targeted support and open access services to children and young people aged 0-25 as well as their families.

We require a highly organised person to join the Ashford District EHPS Business Support Team. You will be responsible for completing all of the administrative tasks across two Early Help Units in addition to supporting the wider District administration functions. You will support the practitioners and become an expert in the systems and databases used to track and provide services to our families. You will need excellent communication skills and be at ease with talking to our partners including schools, health practitioners and commissioned services.

You will prepare agendas and complete the minutes at the weekly Unit meeting and develop your skills in preparing and presenting reports and analysing data from a range of sources. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the Early Help service and possess a demonstrable background of working to a high standard within an administrative role.

Additionally, you will bring an innovative approach to the role; you will be someone who is proactive, solution focused and able to deliver at pace. The Early Help service is transforming rapidly so you will need to be comfortable with change, especially in evolving technology systems. Underpinning the above, you will be someone with excellent IT skills, accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
