A temporary vacancy has arisen within the County Placements Team, who are responsible for coordinating and managing long and short term residential and nursing placements for older people’s services.

You will be required to offer administrative support; this will include using a client system data base, communicating with providers and service users or their representatives either by phone, letter or email. You will track placements, assist with data quality and ensure providers have been paid.

We are looking for someone with an understanding of the needs of older people, good IT and office skills and have the ability to organise work and work to deadlines. You will also need excellent communication skills and work as part of a team.

You will be required to work flexibly potentially including weekends, bank holidays and weekends.

We offer training, support and regular supervision.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
