Following the realignment of Kent County Council’s Infrastructure Property service, we have an exciting opportunity within the Asset Transformation Team. The team is responsible for driving forward the Council’s asset utilisation and estate transformation strategies for its operational portfolio (including the office estate) working closely with KCC service directorates. The team will be accountable for ensuring that the council’s estate is utilised in an efficient and effective manner in line with the asset management plan and Medium-Term Financial Plan. The team will work closely with other KCC services and other partnering organisations to ensure KCC is actively supporting Estate improvement initiatives.

You will ensure the Council’s property portfolios are effectively and efficiently aligned and optimally performing through the review of assets. These reviews will be against the requirements, policies, strategies, budgets and objectives of the organisation. You will work alongside service directorates, other internal and external stakeholders to champion and drive physical and cultural change. You will work with the Asset Transformation team to collaborate and deliver change programmes to time, quality and budget, ensuring they have a workable strategy with ambitious efficiency targets.
