| Starting Salary £9.36 per hour (Equivalent £18,059 per annum) | Casual relief - as and when required |  
We are looking for individuals to work in the Isle of Sheppey to join our team of Small Steps Coordinators. The Small Steps project is designed to instil good road safety habits in young pedestrians from an early age and contribute to casualty reduction. Coordinators lead training for 6-7 year olds in primary schools over an 8 week period.
The coordinator will make contact with selected schools in the Isle of Sheppey to offer them the training and book them in. The coordinator can arrange training for a day of the week which suits them. Hours will vary depending on schools booked in, but are likely to range between 2 and 10 hours per week. This role is casual, meaning no hours are guaranteed. It is ideal for those looking for something flexible.
The role involves:
- Liaison with schools & parents
- Coordinating and delivering Small Steps Schemes
- Performing  risk assessments
- Organising meetings with head teachers, parents & introducing the scheme to the children. 
- Recruiting, training and working with parent volunteers.
