The Front Door Service is looking for an motivated, focussed and dedicated, full-time Team Manager to lead one of the six teams in the Front Door Service. The right person for the job must have the skills to lead a multi skilled team; be able to work with the other 5 TM’s and the 2 service managers; be able to apply threshold application; and lead their team to meet clear timescales in order to avoid delay in getting the right support for the children and families in Kent.

The TM appointed will lead a Team of 7 multi skilled, social work qualified and alternatively qualified staff. They must have working knowledge of threshold application and clear decision making. They will need to provide quality professional supervision to their team members as well as adhoc day to day support to their team and their TM colleagues, as well as managing performance and developing skills across the team.

The TM will need to work well with partner agencies to ensure thresholds between early help and statutory child protection work are appropriate, understood and effective. As a TM they will be part of an exciting service, that is continually developing to ensure efficiency and high standards of work. Developing collaborative working links with a broad range of agencies is part of the role, as well as being the main link between specific districts to the Front Door Service, providing professional, up to date advice and guidance when required.
