An opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to join the Youth Justice Team within Early Help and Preventative Services. A Kent County Council Apprenticeship is a great opportunity to gain a Level 2 or 3 (dependant on previous experience/qualifications) qualification in Business and Administration whilst working for a large, diverse, rapidly changing organisation.

The purpose of the role is to provide day-to-day clerical and administrative support for Youth Justice Team taking a proactive role in the team’s day-to-day functioning, assisting in the smooth running of support functions.

The South Kent Youth Justice team sits within the Early Help and Preventative Service and supports children, young people and families across district teams, providing Open Access and targeted Intensive provision through Children Centre’s, Youth Hubs and Units to offer opportunities and support to all.

The apprenticeship will see you working across all Early Help administrative functions, gaining valuable skills and experience whilst supporting with day-to-day clerical and administrative tasks, in addition to assisting on specific projects and tasks for the Business Management Team.

The role will work across the South Kent area (Dover, Ashford and Shepway) and will require occasional travel between our District and Area offices.
